Aaaagh! Put it down! It's the flesh-eating hypocolius of the Kilimanjaro! Run for your life! RUN!!!!! Those birds are nature's perfect killing machines . . . . they can swallow a hippopotamus in one bite!

Second vote for Yellow Billed Cuckoo. As a former wildlife rehabber... is he hurt/injured that he would let you pick him up? Their is a great bird rescue in our area if needed.
Unfortunately, he is beyond help. We found him in our driveway yesterday afternoon. Never fear, he had a full funeral.
Aww... he didn't look dead :(
